Wisdom Is Misery

As discussed in A Waste of Space Pt 1, the use of one or two spaces after a period can obviously result in a tense exchange – for it is a proverbial black hole of personal feelings and attachments, schooling background and past grammatical lessons taught. However foolish of me, I wondered if this same division existed outside of the work force.

To test my hypothesis, I logged onto Twitter and Tweeted the following message in the trending topic of the day:

@wisdomismisery: #rememberwhen: People put TWO spaces after a period. Losers.

The other day I was working with some colleagues when a passionate debate ensued. It started simple enough. Now, I don’t know who struck first or who scorched the sky but… Ok, actually, none of that latter part happened; I think I’m getting confused with The Matrix plot – which I had watched later that same day. I digress.

I sat idly in horror and disgust whilst the legitimacy of the rap game wilted away before my eyes; however, I can hold my tongue no longer! Perhaps this goes without saying, but THE RAP GAME IS MESSED UP!

BACK IN MY DAY, rappers were rappers. Not studio engineered music industry finger-puppets, like these so called ‘rappers’ nowadays. Why, in my day, you couldn’t be considered a real rapper if you didn’t have at least a few bullet or stab wounds in you and weren’t a product of the streets. Those rappers kept it really real! Rappers today keep it fakey fake.

Why do good girls love bad boys? Hell if I know. Honestly, maybe that quote doesn’t apply anymore. LMAO. Sorry, I couldn’t keep a straight face. Yeah right, who am I kidding? Good girls will always love bad boys!

I was homing from work the other day when I came across this article: Why the Ladies Love Jon Hamm of ‘Mad Men’ It’s a decent read. I’ve read a few of Newsweek’s Sarah Ball articles with much amusement and enjoyment.
