In the beginning of a year I will not name or specifically cite, because I don’t need anyone trying to reference if we were dating or not dating at the time or during the time period covered in this blog and fussing at me about it later. EVEN THOUGH, I can assure you if you are a person I have dated in the past or I am currently dating in the present, and you are reading this, we were WITHOUT A DOUBT not dating at the hypothetical time frame that I may or may not be making reference to in this blog. IN FACT, I am making this entire blog up purely for the entertainment of the reader! True story, scouts honor!

What makes a model a model?
Like me, you probably know or have known many men and women who call themselves models, or who say they have model -ed in the past, and/or are currently model -ing in the present. Given the great age divide, income, and attractive to vastly unattractive range of these different ‘models,’ one is left to wonder: What makes a model?

Homeless Parking Gratuity Increases
Posted in: Satire
The economy must be worse than I thought! Case and point: I was down in Houston, Texas one weekend, where mind you the cost of living is fairly low for most major cities, on my way to a club located in the downtown area. I was looking for a parking space when a helpful “unofficial parking attendant” AKA random homeless guy that helps you find obvious parking spaces. You know, the kind of parking spaces that you would have undoubtedly found on your own by just having your eyes open, but regardless of that fact, they take full credit for locating — and then expect you to pay them a “finders fee”. Yes, this particular U.P.A. helped guide me into a clearly marked parking space that I had actually spotted myself over half a mile away, long before I saw him. In fact, I’m not even really sure where the hell he came from.

I read an interesting article awhile back about a book called, ‘Guyland.’ By the way, no, I have not read it, nor do I plan to read it. I’m from Generation Y buddy, we don’t read anything over 1000 words. FYI, dear reader, this blog is only 451 words; however, you can read the full article at http://www.newsweek.com/id/156372 if you want. Don’t let me stereotype you. But, I digress.
From glancing over the article I gathered the book is about how today’s ‘young men’ are habitually putting off what used to be the normalized rituals of adulthood: career, marriage, family, etc. Granted, in my opinion, what defines ‘growing up’ differs from guy to guy given their background, personal experiences, preferences — and maybe even culture.
