I was fortunate enough to receive another host on SingleBlackMale.org this week. In this submission I attempted to explain why I feel men don’t commit. I’m only one man and in the interest of full disclosure I must admit I didn’t bother to do any research beyond personal observations and drawing conclusions in my own head. Despite this fact I believe the reasons presented are fairly accurate. However, you don’t have to agree.

By now you have probably heard the adage that states, “men are from Mars and women are from Venus.” Expanding on this wise and very true proclamation, the brothers over at SingleBlackMale.org were gracious enough to host a blog that allowed me to explain how men speak English and women speak… Well, does anyone really know what women speak? After a most rigorous application process, which consisted of answering a consortium of timeless hood riddles such as “Where the [garden utensils] at?” among many other increasingly challenging brainteasers, the illustrious brothers over at SingleBlackMale.org finally accepted and posted my blog submission. I have been told it has changed the lives of many – but mostly for the worse. You can read this blog by clicking here.

In response to her email, which is captured in the blog titled, My Friday Rant, my friend received the following “encouraging” news:
There are worse things than being single!” This is in response to the number of people who are cheating on their partners and spouses, after the man shot his girlfriend and the cop in [Texas], and another man (the same week), shot and killed his girlfriend, headed to Mexico, and committed suicide on the way!!! I continue to believe there are worse things than being single – you don’t have someone laying next to you at night who wants to kill you, cheat on you, totally ignore you or mistreat you, or that you just can’t stand!!! Pease remember there really will be several women at the event who are envying you because being with someone doesn’t mean that they are any happier than those of who are flying solo – and, that’s just sad!!!
